A. Permit Required; Application: The city manager or his designee may grant permits for supervised public displays of fireworks by fair associations and other organizations or groups of individuals. Application shall be made in writing at least five (5) days in advance of the date of display. A permit fee is paid in an amount set by the board of commissioners as provided in the fines and fees schedule pursuant to appendix A, division IV of this code.
B. Inspection Or Supervision: The fire chief or his designee may inspect or supervise any public display of fireworks.
C. Any fireworks that remain unfired after the display is concluded shall be immediately disposed of in a way safe for the particular type of fireworks remaining. (Ord. 2021-003, 4-12-2021)
