A. Penalty Imposed: Any violation of the provisions of this chapter or failure to comply with any of its requirements shall constitute a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine in an amount set by the board of commissioners as provided in the fines and fees schedule in appendix A, division III of this code. With respect to violations of this chapter, each day the violation continues constitutes a separate offense. (Ord. 919, 9-8-2008; amd. 2013 Code)
B. Abatement Order: This chapter may also be enforced by any appropriate equitable action. The abatement order may include removal of junk from illegal junkyards or salvage yards and legal yards not in compliance. The actions required to make the property comply with the provisions of this chapter shall be at the owner's expense.
C. License Revocation: The city may revoke the license to operate the junkyard or salvage yard and issue an order to cease doing business. (Ord. 919, 9-8-2008)
