1.05.035   Documents--Execution by city.  
All legal documents requiring the assent of the city shall be:
      1.   approved by the city council;
      2.   signed by the mayor on behalf of the city, or in the mayor's absence, by the presiding officer of the council;
      3.   attested to thereon by the city clerk, or in the absence of the city clerk, by the deputy clerk.
