2.15.145   Compensation--Not to be varied.
The council may fix by ordinance the salaries of elected officers. The salary of the mayor may not be reduced during his term of office. An elected officer may not receive any other compensation for service to city. Per diem payments and reimbursements for expenses are not compensation under this section.
