9.12.030: FIRING OF PROJECTILES BY MECHANICAL DEVICE PROHIBITED:

It is unlawful for any person to fire any projectile by means of a mechanical device to which section 9.12.010 or 9.12.020 of this chapter do not apply. It is intended that this section apply to bows and arrows, crossbows, slingshots and other like devices. Violations of this section shall be punishable by a fine of not more than that allowed by state statute and/or imprisonment for not more than ten (10) days. (Ord. 471 § 3, 1995)
