It is unlawful for any person to discharge a firearm within the city, except as otherwise stated by applicable law adopted by the state of Idaho as amended from time to time. For purposes of this section, "firearm" shall mean any handgun, rifle, shotgun or other weapon which propels a projectile by means of gunpowder. Violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine of not more than that allowed by state statute and/or imprisonment of not more than six (6) months. (Ord. 624, 2015)
