Where any animal has been impounded, notice thereof shall be given to the custodian, or if the custodian is unknown, then notice thereof shall be posted for seven days on the outside bulletin board at the Town Hall, 102 Town Hall Drive, and at the bulletin board at the animal control shelter. This notice shall give the time and place of taking such animal together with the time and date of posting the notice or until the animal is transported to the county animal shelter. Upon payment of any required fees and/or penalties and upon satisfactorily meeting any other requirements of this chapter, the custodian may redeem an animal.
