10-2-9-12: SCHEDULE OF FINES AND PENALTIES:
The fines and penalties which shall be imposed pursuant to 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/11-208.3 and 5/11-208.6 shall be as follows:
   A.   For violation of sections hereunder, any compliance violation or violation of any village ordinance regulating, restricting or prohibiting the standing or parking of motor vehicles along the streets, byways, alleyways, regulated parking lots or such other locations as may be controlled by off street parking agreements, located within the geographical boundaries of this village, other than for handicapped parking, the fine shall be:
      1.   From the date the citation is issued up to and including the first hearing date, fifty dollars ($50.00).
      2.   Upon failure to pay the fine amount by the date of the first hearing date up to the second hearing date, seventy five dollars ($75.00).
      3.   Upon failure to pay the fine amount by the date of the second hearing date up to the third hearing date, one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00).
      4.   Upon failure to pay the fine amount by the date of the third hearing date, two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00).
   B.   For violation of any village ordinance regulating, restricting or prohibiting the standing or parking of motor vehicles along the streets, byways, alleyways, regulated parking lots or such other locations as may be controlled by off street parking agreements, located within the geographical boundaries of this village for areas specifically designated for handicapped parking, the fine shall be:
      1.   From the date the citation is issued up to and including the first hearing, $                .
      2.   Upon failure to pay the fine amount by the date of the first hearing date up to the second hearing date, $                .
      3.   Upon failure to pay the fine amount by the date of the second hearing date up to the third hearing date, $                .
      4.   Upon failure to pay the fine amount by the date of the third hearing date, $                .
   C.   With regard to an automated traffic law enforcement system violation, unless the driver of the motor vehicle received a uniform traffic citation from a police officer at the time of the violation, the motor vehicle owner is subject to a civil penalty not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100.00), plus an additional penalty of not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for failure to pay the original penalty in a timely manner, if the motor vehicle is recorded by an automated traffic law enforcement system. A violation for which a civil penalty is imposed under this section is not a violation of a traffic regulation governing the movement of vehicles and may not be recorded on the driving record of the owner of the vehicle.
