A. It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any gun within the village limits; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to a duly authorized police officer while engaged in the discharge of his duties. For the purposes of this section, "gun" shall mean and include any rifle, pistol, shotgun, firearm, BB gun, pellet gun, or any other instrument which discharges a projectile, such as a bullet or pellet.
B. Any person who violates the terms of this section shall, upon conviction, be fined a sum of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00), nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense. Each discharge shall be considered a separate offense. (Ord. 91-O-590, 9-4-1991)
