This chapter shall apply to all water entering the storm drain system generated on any developed and undeveloped lands unless explicitly exempted by the village of Kildeer.
A surface water drainage control permit shall be required in the following situations:
A. Construction and/or alteration of any buildings, structures or any parts or appurtenances thereto.
B. Grading and/or draining of any lot or other parcel of land. (This shall not include the depositing of topsoil or seeding.)
C. All paving for driveways and parking facilities.
D. Construction of terraces.
E. Construction of retaining walls.
F. The installation of culverts and other piping including foundation drainage which affects the movement of surface water.
G. Any other type of construction which directly affects surface water drainage within the immediate vicinity of the construction site. (Ord. 09-O-1042, 6-2-2009)
