3-3-6: LICENSE CLASSIFICATIONS:
Class A - retail sale of alcoholic liquor for use and consumption on or off premises; food service may be included.
   Number of licenses - 0
Class A.1 - retail sale of alcoholic liquor for use and consumption on or off premises with expanded hours; food service may be included. Wine and beer tasting is permitted no more than once a week, except for the period from November 15 to December 31 when wine and beer tasting is permitted no more than twice a week.
   Number of licenses - 1
Class B - retail sale of alcoholic liquor for use and consumption on premises only.
   Number of licenses - 2
Class B.1 - retail sale of alcoholic liquor for use and consumption on premises (including formalized patio seating), and incidental to the service of a lunch or dinner meal consumed at a table or counter; license includes typical bar service and daily wine tastings and the retail sale of bottled wine and wine products in the original package for consumption off the premises.
   Number of licenses - 4
Class C - retail sale of alcoholic liquor (beer and wine only) for use and consumption on or off premises.
   Number of licenses - 0
Class D - retail sale of alcoholic liquor (beer and wine only) for use and consumption off the premises only. The issuance of a Class D license and the retention of that license shall only take place where sales of beer shall be limited to packages of 6-packs or more, and the sale of individual serving containers of beer is prohibited. Sales of wine in individual containers shall be not less than seven hundred fifty milliliters (750 mL) volume. Sales of wine in 4-packs or 2-packs must contain a total volume of not less than seven hundred forty eight milliliters (748 mL). This license authorizes the sale of alcoholic liquor, in original package form, for consumption off the premises where sold subject to the following conditions:
   A.   Not more than twenty percent (20%) of the total floor area of the licensed premises may be devoted to the storage and display of alcoholic beverages.
   B.   At least one store employee of twenty-one (21) years of age or older must be present on the licensed premises when alcohol is being sold.

Class E - retail sale of alcoholic liquor (beer and wine only) for use and consumption on the premises only.
   Number of licenses - 1
Class F - retail sale of alcoholic liquor for use and consumption on the premises only and incidental to the service of food; live or recorded music shall be permitted.
   Number of licenses - 2
Class G - temporary liquor license to authorize the sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption on a premises situated within the Village may be issued to an applicant for a period not in excess of forty eight (48) hours; provided, that said applicant fully satisfies all the requirements of the laws of the State of Illinois and all other requirements of this chapter. To qualify for a temporary liquor license, the applicant must demonstrate that he or it is a not for profit organization.
   Number of licenses - 1
Class G.1 - temporary liquor license to authorize the sale of alcoholic liquor for consumption on a premises situated within the Village may be issued to an applicant for a period not in excess of forty eight (48) hours; provided, that said applicant fully satisfies all the requirements of the laws of the State of Illinois and all other requirements of this chapter.

Class H - retail sale of alcoholic liquor for use and consumption on premises only, in conjunction with the operation of a golf course/country club, including: golf course/cart service, bar/cocktail lounge service, meal service and banquet service.
   Number of licenses - 1
Class I - retail sale of alcoholic liquor for use and consumption on premises only (including formalized patio seating), and incidental to the service of a lunch or dinner meal consumed at a table or counter; license does not include typical bar service.
   Number of licenses - 2
Class J - retail sale of alcoholic liquor (beer and wine only) for use and consumption off the premises only, in conjunction with retail sale of general merchandise; total floor space devoted to liquor (beer and wine) sales, not to exceed ten percent (10%) of total floor square footage. Winetasting is permitted no more than once a week, except for the period from November 15 to December 31 when winetasting is permitted no more than twice a week.
   Number of licenses - 0
Class K - retail sale of alcoholic liquor for use and consumption off the premises only, in conjunction with retail sale of general merchandise; total floor space devoted to liquor sales, not to exceed ten percent (10%) of total floor square footage. Winetasting is permitted no more than once a week, except for the period from November 15 to December 31 when winetasting is permitted no more than twice a week.
   Number of licenses - 1
Class L - barbershop, beauty shop, spa, salon, cosmetic establishments, and other retailers. Class L shall permit the dispensing of alcoholic liquor solely on premises that are exclusively occupied and operated as a barbershop, beauty shop, spa, salon, cosmetic establishments, and other retailers. Such license shall permit the dispensing only to customers of the shop or facility and only for consumption of the drink on such premises while the customer is waiting for or receiving customary barber, cosmetic, beauty shop, spa services, or other retail customer service from the facility. The following conditions shall apply to this license:
   A.   No signage is allowed indicating that the dispensation of alcohol is available.
   B.   No more than two (2) servings of any alcoholic beverage to a customer at such a premises shall be allowed during any single calendar day. Alcoholic beverage shall only include wine, sparkling wine, champagne, or beer.
   Number of licenses - 2
Class M - Licensed truck stop establishments, a facility (i) that is at least a 3-acre facility with a convenience store, (ii) with separate diesel islands for fueling commercial motor vehicles, (iii) that sells at retail more than 10,000 gallons of diesel or biodiesel fuel per month, and (iv) with parking spaces for commercial motor vehicles. “Commercial motor vehicles” has the same meaning as defined in Section 18b-101 of the Illinois Vehicle Code. The requirement of item (iii) of this paragraph may be met by showing that estimated future sales or past sales average at least 10,000 gallons per month. That a licensed truck stop establishment liquor license shall authorize the sale of alcoholic liquor for use and consumption off the premises only.

Any license may be revoked by the Liquor Control Commission, upon the violation by any licensee, his agents or employees of any Village ordinance, State or Federal law.
