3-3-4: LICENSE PROCEDURE:
   A.   Applications for licenses to sell alcoholic liquor at retail shall be made to the village president as liquor control commissioner on forms furnished by him. Said applications shall be made not less than sixty (60) days prior to the date for which the license is sought.
   B.   Applications shall be executed in triplicate by the applicant seeking license, shall be under oath stating all material information required in article VI, section 1 of said "act relating to alcoholic liquors" 1 . Initial application shall be accompanied by a two hundred fifty dollar ($250.00) nonrefundable application fee. (Ord. 91-O-563, 2-4-1991)
   C.   The liquor control commission shall make whatever investigations are necessary to verify the application data before presentation to the village board for approval.
   D.   The liquor control commissioner, acting on a majority affirmative vote of the liquor control commission, shall present the application to the Village Board for approval. A two-thirds (2/3) majority shall be required for approval, and upon approval by the Village Board, the license shall be granted upon receipt of the following within a period of thirty (30) days after approval of the license application:
      1.   Payment of the license fee to the Village Clerk by certified or cashier's check. (Ord. 63-O-90, 9-5-1963)
      2.   Proof of insurance including dramshop coverage in the amount of at least one million dollars ($1,000,000.00). (Ord. 10-O-012, 6-15-2010)
   E.   No license shall be issued to any person who is ineligible under 235 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/6-2, which statute is hereby adopted herewith by reference and made a part of this chapter. (Ord. 93-O-631, 1-11-1993)
