§ 36.08 EXAMINATION REQUIRED BY EMPLOYER.
   An employee on authorized absence for more than 3 days due to illness for any period due to injury shall return to duty only after examination and release for work by his or her treating physician. The employer may, at his or her own expense, cause an examination to be made by a physician of his or her choice, and in the event of dispute concerning the employee's ability to return, the questions shall be subject to the grievance procedure.
