§ 34.05 WRITTEN CONTRACTS REQUIRED; WITH EXCEPTION.
   (A)   Written contracts shall be entered into with successful bidders unless delivery is to be made forthwith. The Board may direct any local improvement, except where special assessments are to be levied, to be done by day's work if the reasonable cost thereof is not in excess of $1,500. An estimate of the cost shall be prepared by the Engineer and filed in the Town Hall for public inspection at least 5 days before the improvement is directed.
   (B)   Upon completion of the improvement, the Finance Officer shall prepare and file, forthwith, for public inspection, in his or her office, an itemized statement of the cost paid out in the construction of the improvement, verified by him or her.
