At the first regular meeting of the Parks and Recreation Board in May of each year, the Board shall elect from its number, a President, Vice President and a Secretary, each of whom shall serve until the first meeting of the Board in May of the following year. The Vice President shall act in the absence or disability of the President. In case of death or retirement of an officer, a successor shall be elected immediately.
