The Health Officer shall have and exercise a general supervision over the sanitary conditions of the town. He or she shall give the Board of Trustees all the professional advice and information as they may require in regard to the public health. He or she shall enforce all the laws of the state relative to sanitary matters and all ordinances of the town bearing on public health.
