(A) No interment shall be made of 2 or more bodies in 1 grave, unless the case is a cremation then 2 cremations can be in 1 grave. It is the family's and/or deed holder's responsibility to keep track of where each cremation is located within the burial plot to avoid disturbing previous burials.
(B) Monuments and markers are not the Town of Keystone property. Maintenance and vandalism are the responsibility of the deed holder or personal representative of the estate.
(C) No disinterment in a burial plot or grave space will be permitted without documentation, as prescribed by South Dakota Law, in writing by the surviving husband, wife or next of kin of the person whose body is to be disinterred, and written permit, order for the disinterment from the owner of the lot, or his or her lawful representative.
