For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context indicates or requires a different meaning.
FIREWORKS. Pyrotechnics or fireworks containing phosphorus, sulfocyanate, mercury, chlorate of potash and sulfur and sulfur or chlorate of potash and sugar, and the following names of fireworks:
(1) Firecrackers;
(2) Flash crackers or salutes;
(3) Blank cartridges;
(4) Cherry bombs;
(5) Sky rockets (including all devices which rise in the air during discharge);
(6) Roman candles (including all devices discharging balls of fire into the air);
(7) Chasers (including all devices which dart or travel above the surface of the ground during discharge);
(8) Snakes, boa constrictors and snake nests containing bichloride or mercury;
(9) All articles for pyrotechnic display which contain gun powder;
(10) Articles commonly known as son-of-a-gun;
(11) Devil on the rock;
(12) Cricket sticks;
(13) Automatic torpedoes which contain arsenic;
(14) Explosives known as devil-on-the-walk;
(15) Other articles of similar character which explode through the means of friction or by fuse; and
(16) All other fireworks, except cap pistol paper caps, containing not more than 25/100 of a grain of explosive compound to each paper cap.
