§ 51.06 BUILDING PERMITS REQUIRED FOR SEWER CONSTRUCTION; PERMIT FEES.
   (A)   No building sewer shall be built, repaired, extended or connected with the public sewer without a permit.
   (B)   All applications for sewer permits shall be made to the town Finance Officer by the person employed to do the work. The application shall be accompanied by a plan and drawings showing the proposed work.
   (C)   Before a permit is given on the application, the town may inspect the premises and the proposed installations to ascertain if the installation is properly performed and in compliance with local and state laws, ordinances and regulations, and that the statements in the application are true. After the application has been approved by the Board of Trustees and the applicant has paid to the town Finance Officer a permit fee of $1,000 for residential, or $2,000 for commercial, the town Finance Officer shall issue the permit.
   (D)   Upon issuance of the permit, the person to whom it is granted may proceed with the work in accordance with the permit granted. The applicant shall notify the town Finance Officer of the progress of the work at the stages during construction as the town may direct and in particular, shall notify the town Finance Officer when the building sewer is complete and ready for connection with the public sewer. The town shall be given an opportunity to inspect the work after it is completed.
