In May of 1994, the Town Council approved arrangements with the county, which established the County Joint Planning Commission. The County
Building and Zoning Department assumed the responsibility for Building Code enforcement, building inspection and zoning enforcement. The official title for the
Building Inspector is County Building and Zoning Official. All fees are established, approved, collected and retained by the county.
