§ 2-112 VOTING PROCEDURE.
   (A)   A show of hands or a voice vote shall be sufficient to record votes. During the voting, no member shall leave the Council chamber, without permission of the presiding officer.
   (B)   All actions of the Council shall be by majority vote of the members present.
   (C)   The result of each vote on every question shall be recorded in the minutes by the Clerk. The “yeas” and “nays” on any question shall be recorded, when requested by any member.
   (D)   Every Council member, including the Mayor, shall have one vote on every question, except when required to refrain from voting by state law.
   (E)   Members voting “present” shall not be recorded as in favor or opposed to the motion.
   (F)   The Mayor may make a motion or second a motion without vacating the chair.
