It shall be unlawful for anyone to ride a bicycle, tricycle, coaster, skateboard, roller skates, scooter or any other wheeled conveyance on a sidewalk in any area of the town zoned as a (B-3) General Commercial District or (B-1) Central Business District, except for the purpose of crossing the same when necessary; provided, however, that, this section shall not apply to wheelchairs or other similar devices used by handicapped persons.
