§ 24-48 POWERS OF POLICE OFFICERS.

(A) Each officer of the Department shall be sworn and invested with all powers within the corporate limits of the town and its police jurisdiction as authorized by law.

(B) He or she shall have the power to carry out all duties assigned to him or her by statutes, ordinances, resolutions, directives, rules or regulations.
