§ 24-1 DEFINITIONS.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

CHIEF OF POLICE or CHIEF. The Lancaster County Sheriff.

POLICE OFFICER or OFFICER. The law enforcement officers of the County Sheriff’s Department.
