§ 20-2 PENALTIES.
   A violation of the provisions of this chapter or the failure to comply with any of its requirements, including a violation of the conditions and safeguards established in connection with grants of variance or special exceptions, shall constitute a misdemeanor. Nothing contained in this chapter shall prevent the town from taking such other lawful action as is necessary to prevent or remedy any violation.
