§ 12-3 FUNERAL HOME LIABILITY; WORKER REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   Funeral homes are liable for all damages to markers, headstones or copings caused during the opening and closing of graves.
   (B)   All work in the cemetery must be discontinued during an internment or burial service.
   (C)   Whenever any work is being performed in the cemetery, workers must, to the maximum extent possible:
      (1)   Use walkways;
      (2)   Place planks on plots of grass over which heavy materials or equipment are to be moved;
      (3)   Remove all rubbish and debris;
      (4)   Restore the avenues and lawns damaged by their work;
      (5)   Minimize trespassing on surrounding lots while in the process of performing their work;
      (6)   Minimize all obstructions; and
      (7)   Minimize any delays after work has commenced.
   (D)   The following activities or actions by funeral homes and workers are prohibited:
      (1)   The mixing of mortar or cement in the roadways of the cemetery;
      (2)   The attachment of wires or ropes to any tree, shrub or monument; and
      (3)   The scattering of materials over adjoining lots.
