(A) Kenton County and the several cities declare their collective intent to collaborate in the task of providing public safety communication services to all police, fire, and EMS agencies within the county including, but not limited to, 911 emergency dispatching, radio communications, access to criminal history/warrant information and related records management, and similar type information/services generally associated with public safety/emergency communication systems.
(B) The Kenton County Fiscal Court and several cities wish to provide efficient, reliable, and quality public safety communication services to the public safety agencies and citizens of Kenton County. The Fiscal Court and several cities believe that the provision of these services, via a model of consolidated service delivery, will result in the most efficient and effective utilization of public resources to accomplish this purpose.
(C) The Kenton County Fiscal Court and the several cities wish to further provide for the orderly integration of the remainder of the Kenton County cities into the Kenton County Communication Board on an established time line.
