§ 150.17 LICENSE REQUIRED.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person, except the owner of the property, to engage in the business of installing, altering or repairing within the limits of the county, any electrical wiring, devices or equipment unless such individual is the holder of the electrical contractors license or employed by a licensed electrical contractor and a holder of an electrician's license. Application for such license must be made in writing to the Board, stating the name, experience and qualifications of the applicant. Upon the applicant's complying with the requirements of this subchapter and passing an examination approved by the Northern Kentucky Electric Authority, a license shall be granted to the individual applying for the same.
   (B) It shall be unlawful for any person to advertise or otherwise hold himself out to the public as a licensed electrical contractor or licensed electrician, within the limits of Kenton County, unless he is in fact the holder in good standing of such license issued by the Northern Kentucky Electric Authority.
