Each employee who has accumulated 960 hours of sick leave while employed by the City of Kenton shall receive eight hours of paid bonus vacation leave for each 24 hours of unused sick leave accumulated during the preceding year in excess of the 960 hours. This bonus leave shall not exceed 40 hours per year and shall not be deducted from the employee’s sick leave.
