Whenever it is necessary for an employee to appear in Court as part of his or her required job duties, while not on regular duty for the City, he or she shall receive compensation for such time calculated at his or her regular rate of pay. He or she shall receive a minimum payment of two hours of appearance in court. Such time shall be considered time worked for purposes of calculating overtime for time worked over forty hours in the workweek.
