249.21 PAY ADJUSTMENTS.
   Each employee in November of each calendar year, may receive a written evaluation of his or her performance for the preceding evaluation period. Employees may be evaluated on various pre- established job record criteria and shall receive a total rating of “unsatisfactory”, “need improvement”, “meets standards”, or “exceeds standards”. Such evaluation shall be conducted by the employee’s immediate supervisor and/or department head. Pay adjustments shall be reviewed by the Management, Organization and Personnel Committee and shall be awarded only to those employees who meet or exceed standards, as measured by the employee’s total performance evaluation rating. Employees who are awarded pay increases may receive the same up to the maximum of their assigned range. In no event shall an employee’s pay be increased above the maximum of their range.
