1606.01 SMOKING IN PUBLIC BUILDINGS.

(a) No person shall smoke any cigarette, cigar or pipe in any school in the City, except at such places in any such theater or public school designated by the Safety-Service Director as a place where smoking is permitted.

(b) It shall be the duty of the Safety-Service Director to properly post theaters and public schools with adequate caution and warning signs, which signs shall properly notify the public of the prohibitions contained in this section and the penalty provided in Section 1606.99.
