Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter or fails to comply with any lawful order issued by the Safety-Service Director under the provisions of this chapter, or proceeds in the demolition of any work in a manner which does not comply with the approved plans and permit issued for such work by the Director under the provisions of this chapter, shall be fined not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) or imprisoned not more than six months, or both, for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
