(a) In the event of the death of an indigent resident of the City, the City will pay the applicable funeral home the reasonable cost of cremation only, to be invoiced by said funeral home to the City together with necessary cost of transportation incurred by said funeral home, including transportation cost included in conducting an autopsy.
(b) Any arrangement made with the funeral home exceeding the above costs shall be the responsibility of the next of kin or party making said arrangements and shall be made directly between the funeral home and said party and shall not be the responsibility of the City.
