(a) The Community Development Director may designate one or more persons to serve in the capacity of Code Official for the purpose of enforcing the Property Maintenance Code.
(b) In accordance with the prescribed procedures of the City of Kent with the concurrence of the appointing authority, the Community Development Director shall have the authority to appoint a Deputy Code Official, other related technical officers, inspectors and other employees.
