Any wrecking work shall be completed within thirty days from the date of issuance of the permit, except that such time may be extended for an additional thirty days from good cause shown, upon application to the Building Inspector. If the wrecking work is not completed within thirty days, or sixty days if an additional thirty days has been granted, then the Building Inspector shall immediately employ labor to complete the operation and deduct the cost thereof from the cash deposit provided above. However, if the cash deposit is insufficient to pay for the cost thus incurred by the Building Inspector, then either the one to whom a permit was issued or the owner of the property, jointly or severally, shall be liable to the City for reimbursement for such additional cost.
