Upon the placement of refuse, solid waste, garbage, rubbish and trash at a designated location for collection by the City' Refuse Contractor, the material shall become the property of the City.
It shall be violation of this chapter for any person other than the authorized personnel of the Department of Public Service, the authorized personnel of the Health Department, the authorized personnel of the Police Department, the authorized personnel of the Fire Department, the City's Refuse Contractor or the resident placing such refuse, solid waste, garbage, rubbish and trash for collection, to collect, pick up, or cause to be collected or picked up, such refuse solid waste, garbage, rubbish and trash. Each such collection in violation hereof shall constitute a separate and distinct offense. (Ord. 2021-078. Passed 8-18-21.)
