Nothing contained in this chapter shall be deemed or construed as an abdication or relinquishment on the part of the City of any of its assessing power and authority as granted by the Constitution and statutes of the State of Ohio. This chapter is supplemental to and not in derogation of any statutory provisions of this State, including Ohio R.C. Chapters 727 and 729.
