The Police Department is hereby directed to conduct a safety inspection of all vehicles at quarterly intervals each year between the first and tenth day of January, April, July and October. If any vehicle fails to conform with the standards of safety required by the Traffic Code, the inspecting officer shall inform the City Manager of such fact and the City Manager shall revoke the license for such vehicle until the defects have been corrected.
