Tank batteries and storage tanks shall be located generally as depicted on the approved application map.
(a) Distance from adjacent property lines and streets: The regulations governing minimum distance of tank batteries and storage tanks from adjacent property lines and streets shall be the same as those set forth in Section 1173.09 of this Chapter.
(b) Distance from dwellings and structures: The regulations governing minimum distance of tank batteries and storage tanks from adjacent dwellings and structures shall be the same as those set forth in Section 1173.08(a) of this Chapter.
(c) Landscaping and fencing: All tank batteries and storage tanks shall be fenced with a six (6) foot cyclone fence with barbed wire along the top. Landscaping shall include shrubbery and trees to screen the installation from the road if the location does not provide adequate natural foliage in the opinion of the Planning Commission. All tanks shall be painted forest green.
(d) Diking: All storage tanks or tank batteries shall be diked or other suitable means taken so as to prevent discharge of liquid from endangering adjoining property or reaching waterways.
(1) Capacity: Each dike shall have a capacity of not less than that of the tank or tanks served by the enclosure.
(2) Construction: All dikes shall be constructed of earth, clay, steel, masonry or reinforced concrete so constructed as to be watertight and afford adequate protection. Masonry and concrete structures shall be properly reinforced and shall have footings below the frost line.
