Any person, firm, corporation or association violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code; and in default of the payment of the fine and costs incurred under any of the provisions of this ordinance, the offender shall be confined in the county jail, one day for each thirty five dollars ($35.00), until such fine and costs have been fully paid.
