2-1-5: PURPOSES AND DUTIES:
The purposes of the planning and zoning commission shall be:
   A.    To assist in drafting and revision of land use ordinances, maps, and the comprehensive plan.
   B.    To conduct public hearings on and make recommendations regarding zoning, subdivisions, special use permits and variances.
   C.    To advise the city council on land use issues.
   D.    To perform other duties as required by law. (Ord. 668, 5-13-1997)
