8-2-11: RIGHT TO SHUT OFF WATER:
   A.    When any charges for water or sewer service or any charges or penalties in connection therewith are unpaid and delinquent, the city may, as an additional and concurrent remedy to secure payment, shut off the water service without notice until such charges are paid.
   B.    When the water is shut off for delinquent charges or for any reason whatsoever and the person occupying such premises shall proceed to take water from any other premises connected with the city water supply system, such person taking water, or any person permitting such taking of water, will be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished accordingly as elsewhere in this chapter provided.
