5-6-11: REMEDIES:
   A.   Any person aggrieved in any manner by the violation of any provision of this chapter who has exhausted the remedies provided in subsection 5-6-9B of this chapter may apply to any court of competent jurisdiction for appropriate relief from such violation, including:
      1.   An order compelling compliance with this chapter;
      2.   An order requiring specific performance of any contract for the sale, lease, exchange, transfer, conveyance or assignment of any dwelling or housing, or any person who, in violation of this chapter, refuses or fails to perform such contract;
      3.   Compensatory damages; and
      4.   Such other and further relief as may seem to the court appropriate for the enforcement of this chapter and the elimination of violations hereof.
   B.   Nothing herein shall be deemed an authorization to sue the City for damages or mandatory injunctive relief, nor to otherwise compel the City or its agents or officers to invoke or enforce this chapter. (Ord. 1996-2, 3-11-1996)
