4-1-2: NOTICE TO ABATE:
   A.   In the event any of the nuisances described in section 4-1-1 of this chapter are found to exist by the Mayor, any member of the City Council, any City police officer, or the City Zoning Enforcer, the City Clerk may give written notice to abate such nuisance to the owner or occupant of the premises or property, or the person or entity in control of the premises or property, or the person or entity causing, permitting, or maintaining such nuisance.
   B.   The notice shall be reasonably specific in describing the nature of the nuisance and the action required and shall require such action to be taken within a specified time period. (Ord. 1984-2, 6-11-1984)
   C.   The notice is sufficient if either served personally or sent by registered or certified mail to the last known address of the owner or occupant or person or entity in control or person causing, permitting or maintaining such nuisance. The name and address to which Real Estate Taxes are sent shall be considered to be the name and the last known address of the owner unless contrary information is known to the City Clerk.    D.   If no owner or occupant or person or entity in control or person causing, permitting or maintaining such nuisance can be located, then notice may be given by causing a copy of such notice to be posted within or upon such premises or property. (Ord. 1984-2, 6-11-1984)
