A. Frequency Of Collection: Garbage and refuse accumulated on residential properties shall be placed for collection at least once each week on a day specified by the City; except, that the City, at its option, may provide for pick up of bulk items and white goods with a once per month collection frequency on a day specified by the City. The City may require that the person make prearrangements for the pick up of bulk items and white goods. (Ord. 2003-8, 12-8-2003, eff. 1-1-2004; amd. 2018 Code)
B. Limitation On Quantity: No person shall place more than six (6) cans or thirty two (32) gallon bags or any combination totaling six (6) cans or bags not to exceed fifty (50) pounds per bag or can, or one (1) 95-gallon tote per residence or dwelling each week. Ninety five (95) gallon totes shall not exceed five hundred (500) pounds, including contents. The City may limit the quantity of white goods and bulk items to be picked up each month.
C. Prohibited Materials:
1. No person shall place any chemicals or hazardous liquids in the cans or bags to be disposed of with other garbage and refuse.
2. No person shall place any liquids, body wastes, building operations wastes, dead animals or manure in the cans or bags with garbage and refuse to be disposed of. (Ord. 2003-8, 12-8-2003, eff. 1-1-2004)
