A. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a motor vehicle in a negligent manner over and along the public thoroughfares of the City. For the purpose of this section, "to operate in a negligent manner" shall be construed to mean the operation of a vehicle upon a public thoroughfare in such a manner as to endanger or be likely to endanger any person or property. B. Any person violating any of the provisions of this section shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for each and every offense. (Ord. 1986-3, 8-11-1986; amd. 2018 Code)
