(A) Assessments; payment generally. Whenever any assessment is levied against any property in the city, payment of the assessment may be made to the City Administrator in part or full at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor.

(B) Allocation of part payment. In the event that any assessment is paid in part, the payment shall be applied first to the interest, if any has accrued, and then to the principal.

(C) Certification to county auditor of remainder after part payment. The remaining balance of any partially paid assessment shall then be certified to the County Auditor in a manner as any full assessment.
