§ 150.40 STORMWATER RUNOFF CONTROL.
   An adequate system of stormwater runoff control drainage shall be constructed and installed in accordance with sound engineering practices as determined by the Village Engineer. Compliance must be maintained with the floodplain, zoning, and all other ordinances of the village and with the Plat Act (765 ILCS 205/0.01 et seq.). All natural water drainageways shall be preserved at their natural gradient unless otherwise determined by the Village Engineer. Drainage channels, slopes, and swales will be established on the lots by the developer for the convenience of moving surface water to the street or public storm sewer and are to be maintained continuously by the lot owner. No material shall be moved from or placed on any lot which obstructs, retards or changes the direction of water flow through these channels or swales.
