The grantee shall have the authority to trim trees upon and overhanging village streets, alleys, sidewalks, and other public places in order to prevent the branches of such trees from contacting the grantee’s wires, cables, and equipment, provided that such trimming is done under the supervision and direction of the village and at the expense of the grantee.
